HotSpot Management LLC (dba HotSpot Tax Services) located in Denver, Colorado, commenced operations in 2003. HotSpot's founders have nearly a decade of first hand vacation rental experience, successfully renting their vacation property on 'by-owner' internet sites for years.  As a result of this experience, HotSpot founders recognized a need for additional services to homeowners. HotSpot was formed with a mission to focus on product and service needs in the emerging online vacation rental market which was, and still is, experiencing rapid growth. HotSpot initially formed partnership relationships with VRBO.com, Cyberrentals.com, Greatrentals.com, A1Vacations.com and Rentors.org to provide an entire suite of homeowner services. In July 2005, a series of transactions and agreements were entered into with Homeaway.com and VRBO.com. As a result, HotSpots primary focus became its leading sales and lodging tax compliance service and payment solutions, with VRBO and the Homeaway websites exclusively marketing HotSpot's one-of-a-kind tax compliance service.

Today HotSpot files state and local sales/lodging taxes for thousands of vacation rental properties located in almost every state in the United States, remitting millions of dollars of taxes each year on behalf of our customers.  We believe our rapid growth is a testimony to the need for a simple, easy and affordable way for vacation rental owners, property managers and hotel/motel operators to comply with these tax requirements.

HotSpot is now located in Greenwood Village, Colorado, and maintains its long standing partnerships with VRBO, Homeaway, Cyberrentals, Greatrentals and A1vacations. HotSpot strives to provide a simple and affordable solution for vacation rental sales and lodging tax compliance and payment solutions. We believe we are the only automated, internet delivered compliance solution for state and local hospitality related taxes in the world.
