HotSpot was founded and is managed by two partners with a track record of successful business experience and leadership. In addition, they have successfully managed their own vacation rental property on the Internet since 1999.

Kim Stephens (Operations Partner) is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over 23 years of experience in accounting and finance. She began her career in public accounting with Authur Andersen and advanced into various senior level positions in accounting and finance with international and publicly traded companies. She established her own CPA practice before joining HotSpot Tax Services. She currently oversees and manages all aspects of HotSpot operations and tax services.

Rob Stephens (Business Development Partner) has 22 years of management experience in operations, accounting, investment banking and finance. Rob has served as CFO of several companies ranging from early stage enterprises to public companies. He has experience in all types of financing and transactions including public equity, private equity, bonds, private debt issuances, public debt, bank & lease financing, joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions. Rob started his career in the audit division of Arthur Andersen LLP, a CPA (inactive) in Colorado.
