HotSpot Management Cancellation/Refund Policy

Cancellation

Members may cancel at anytime for any reason. There is no fee or charge to cancel or close your account with HotSpot. Please call or email HotSpot to notify us that you wish to close your account. Termination of HotSpot services does not relieve the member/customer of any unpaid or outstanding obligations and amounts owed to HotSpot for services performed prior to termination.

Refund Policy

A significant portion of work is performed in the initial set-up of a customers account, which includes determining the appropriate tax rates to be charged, applying the tax rates to a members account, completing tax account/business license applications and related correspondence on behalf of a member with state and local tax authorities to open a tax account and/or establish a business license. For this reason, HotSpot will not issue refunds of annual subscription fees or license application fees upon cancellation of a member account. Additionally, HotSpot will not refund service fees for services performed prior to cancellation.

Note Regarding Annual Fees Paid To State And Local Governments

Many taxing jurisdictions charge annual business license fees as an additional tax. These fees are generally non-refundable and are not pro-rated over partial year periods. These are fees HotSpot pays to state and local tax authorities on behalf of its members and then charges a member account for those fees. For this reason, HotSpot is unable to refund any fees paid to state and local governments for these charges.
